MEETING AND SCRATCH BOARD CLASS TAUGHT BY LISA LUCACCIONI.

Lisa Lucaccioni comes from a long line of family artistic lineage. Her aunt Annette Perone Leiber is well known in the art community worldwide. She was a resident of Addison for over 50 years. She founded and established the Addison art guild, the Addison Community Theater, the Children’s Theater and the Addison Centre for the Arts. Lisa’s aunt Annette has been Lisa‘s inspiration and influential mentor as well as Lisa‘s favorite art instructor Mr.
Browning. Lisa’s talent has been recognized with numerous accolades, including several first place ribbons throughout her lifetime showcasing her artwork in prestigious art
exhibitions since she was a young age.

Lisa‘s artistic journey expanded as she embraced diverse mediums from commissioned drawings and paintings to creating unique designs on clothing, jewelry and accessories. Lisa established her own beauty salon “Underground Hair Designers Inc” where Lisa integrated her artistic abilities into hair styling and nail art. Lisa‘s artistic clothing jewelry and accessories were on commission and sold at other salons in the Cook, DuPage and Kane counties. Lisa has been recognized for her exceptional art talents. Lisa‘s artwork has been featured in nails magazine where her artwork garnered attention. Lisa ventured into airbrushing nails, makeup for special occasions, motorcycles helmets, airbrushed body tattoos and murals. Lisa‘s patrons commissioned her to paint life-size murals, personalized paintings and artwork.

Lisa was commissioned to draw a picture of Hank Williams Jr for a client who gave it to her husband as a birthday gift. He took it to a Hank Williams Jr concert and held it up.
Hank Williams Jr saw it and took him on stage and invited him backstage after the concert where Hank William Jr signed his autograph on Lisa‘s artwork. Lisa‘s clients got
to spend personal time with Hank Williams Jr after the concert. Numerable people commission Lisa to draw, paint or airbrush artwork for them.

As Lisa embraced her spiritual path as a Reiki Master Teacher and color and sound therapist. Lisa incorporated art color and sound therapy into her Reiki classes. She also
created her own artwork, incorporating her spiritual path and her art career. Lisa found new inspiration infusing her art into spiritual creations which include intricate Mandalas
and life-size labyrinths showcasing vibrant chakra inspired colors that offer healing and guidance.

Lisa‘s love for animals and nature expands into her artistry encompassing captivating portrayals of butterflies, wildlife and spiritual subjects. Lisa has won numerous awards for
her creative artwork. Lisa‘s artwork has garnered a growing following and is cherished by all of her collectors. Lisa Lucaccioni is known worldwide for her inspirational exceptional artwork. Lisa Lucaccioni has been written about in several newspapers and on the Internet for her exceptional artwork. Lisa is currently a member of the Addison Center for the Arts. Lisa is a member of the Addison Art Guild and the DuPage Art League. Lisa is
currently the vice president of the Addison Art Guild.

ABOUT THE SCRATCH BOARD CLASS/PROGRAM

Lisa’s aunt is Annette Perone Leiber. She is well known in the art community. Annette taught Lisa how to do scratch board / paper artwork at a very young age. Lisa has been
doing scratch board / paper artwork for decades and won several awards for her scratch board/paper artwork over the years. It’s fun and easy to do. For the class Lisa will explain what scratch board/paper artwork is, then explain how to do it step by step and do a quick demonstration. Then the members can do their own. Lisa will be bringing all the supplies and materials needed for them to make an 8×10 scratch board/paper art piece of their own.
Lisa will bring several different pictures for them to choose from to use for their art piece. Lisa will collect the scratch board/paper tools from them when they are done.

MEETING AND WOODCARVING CLASS TAUGHT BY PAUL GRATZKE OF THE NORTH SUBURBAN CARVERS CLUB OF ILLINOIS.

ABOUT THE NORTH SUBURBAN CARVERS CLUB

The “North Suburban Carvers” was established in 1979 through the efforts of Mr. Joe Veracka and five of his students. Social group carving has produced generations of enthusiastic woodcarvers.
The club is composed of men and women and families of all ages and various backgrounds who are involved in woodcarving as a creative art form. We also have a few
junior carvers, our members range in age from 6 to 90. Beginners are especially welcome to join us and learn how to safely hold and handle tools and make basic cuts from our special teaching seminars and more advanced carvers.

Paul Gratzke will be teaching a hands-on wood carving class. The members/students will learn how to carve a ghost to take home with them. All supplies will be supplied by Paul and the AAG will supply gloves for carving. The members/students are encouraged to bring their own supplies if they would like to for carving (tools or gloves). Paul will supply the wood. Paul will also have wood carving tools and gloves for the students/members to borrow for the class if needed.
